I'm sitting here in my studio looking outside at the smoke that is surrounding our valley from fires on the south and north of us. One on the Indian reservation and one in NM. Crazy stuff, it is so dry in our area and the wind is not helping in the least. So, with windows closed, I'm still quilting. Below are several things that I have done in the last few weeks.

The above images are the result of a class I offered using the Kaleidoscope Kreator Program. This was lots of fun with lots of potential for some really cool quilts.

This quilt is one I just finished making for Faith Comes By Hearing

The projects just above are the results of a class I taught using the Twist 'n Stitch ruler by June Tailor
Super fun class!

Just finished a quilt for Faith Comes By Hearing
http://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/ for the Lobiri language.
How exciting, it's an honor to make one of these quilts. Check out the site above to find out what this awesome ministry is all about. If you want to see more of the quilts I have done for them, click on the smilebox on the sidebar of my blog.

One of the sites I am involved with presented a question, "How do you label your quilts"? Not only how but do we label our quilts. I believe that labeling is a very important piece of our creations. Have you ever viewed a quilt of the past and thought to yourself, "I wish I knew more about this"? Below are a few of the labels that I have created for some of my ministry quilts I do for Faith Comes By Hearing. Please take a moment and view the video that I put together showing the quilts I have done for this wonderful organization. Unfortunately, the music is not playing with the video due to technical difficulties. Hope you enjoy and hope you are labeling your quilts!
