Since I love to scrap as well as quilt, I surf scrapping blogs, etc. pretty regularly and I came across this great corner tag below from Faith Sisters, check it out.

It has been a busy week!
It sure has been a busy week! Those girls at Amazing Quilts, www.amazingquiltsaz.com sure are great as they put up with me every second Thursday with my class, "Become a Basket Case with Karen" and even sometimes in-between. We are finished with the February projects and are moving on to the March grouping with shamrocks and ladybugs. More to be offered in the days to come. And below the March blocks are covered button pushpins. These are so simple and fun to make and were a hit at the class. Just cover the buttons with coordinating fabrics, glue to the top of a pushpin and you have the cutest pins ever.

Yeah Saints!!! Great game, lots of excitement.
Here are a few more Valentine
projects that I worked up.
Hope they cause some excitement, too.
This grouping makes for a great
weekend of quilting.
Give me a call to schedule a
"Valentine Party" where we can put these together.

Here is another group of fun items to make!

Super Bowl Sunday! Not partial to either team, although it would be neat if the Saints won. I am just looking forward to a great game. While I am waiting for the "Big Game", I decided to share what I did today. This is a candle mat to compliment my February Basket Calendar BOM ensemble.
The file jacket will be one of twelve folders with a very distinctive look.
The basket has coordinating motifs that are also snapped to the basket.
After machine appliqueing the hearts down, I then stitched around the edge to give it a little more definition.
The block can be used for one of twelve blocks for a nice lap quilt but for now it is snapped to the backboard.
