Quilted Inspirations

Super Bowl Sunday! Not partial to either team, although it would be neat if the Saints won. I am just looking forward to a great game. While I am waiting for the "Big Game", I decided to share what I did today. This is a candle mat to compliment my February Basket Calendar BOM ensemble.

After machine appliqueing the hearts down, I then stitched around the edge to give it a little more definition.

This is the January Basket Calendar BOM.

The block can be used for one of twelve blocks for a nice lap quilt but for now it is snapped to the backboard.

The file jacket will be one of twelve folders with a very distinctive look.

The basket has coordinating motifs that are also snapped to the basket.

This is the February grouping.

This is what I did for January. I made a mat and mug cozie. Guess I need to make a mug cozie for February!!!
