Quilted Picnic Cloth

The "Celebration" picnic cloth is quilted. I am so enjoying
my new Janome "Horizon 7700" sewing machine.
Now that this quilt is done, I will be moving on to the
school house quilt and try to finish that in the next few days.

Picnic Cloth

Need a quick Picnic/table cloth for the 4th of July Celebration?
This was a spur of the moment design that happened while
I was playing on EQ7.  If you would like a pre-cut kit,
you can go to my website
to order one.  This pattern, "Celebration",  includes a
table runner and place mats.  The best part of this pattern is
that it can be made in a day.  Add more columns and rows
to make a full size quilt. Try this in a different
color way.  Fun, Easy, Fast & Cute!

Measuring Tape Dispenser

Just sharing a little thing that I share with my classes I teach.
Find one of those "foot long" gum containers that the kids
get, eat the gum and insert your 120" measuring tape.
Keeps it rolled up and neat.  There are lots of fun ones
to choose from, too.  It makes for a great little token
and freebie when you are teaching a class.

School House Quilt

The blocks are put together and the border
has been started.  I will put the finishing
touches on today, layer it and begin quilting.
I love this block and I have some more plans for it.
Going to put some kits together, so check in at my
website to order a kit.

The Pet Beds began with the collection of our Guilds SCRAPS.
We accummulated bags and bags of scraps, sewed beds
and stuffed.  As you can see in the picture, Sue's jeep was
loaded with Pet Beds.  We have been donating them to the
local animal shelter.  It is a fun and rewarding community project.
You would be amazed at the amount of scraps you can gather
in now time at all.  Start saving your scraps and call your local
animal shelter and start making some Pet Beds.
