Works in Progress

I have been working at a few projects and here they are.  They're still in the works, but making progress.
The double wedding ring was a result of a class I took at Amazing Quilts www.amazingquiltsaz.com where I got to play for the day.  Changed the colors up a little so that I could have fun with the machine quilting.  The Irish chain quilt was a change from my original plan, too.  Instead of using shamrocks in the open spaces, I did a Celtic knot using fusible bias tape.  Still working my way out and not sure what my borders will look like.  Stay posted to see the finished results!

Snow, Rain & Wind

Hi from AZ and yes, that is what I am seeing out my window this very moment, snow, rain and wind.  I guess we are in for an accumulation of the white stuff tonight and tomorrow.  With the weather like this, it's off to my quilt room for some heavy duty quilting.  Got up early turned on some Celtic music, opened my EQ and started on a St. Patrick's Day quilt that I designed a while back. Then I broke for lunch and turned on the Riverdancing on Ice.  How fun is that.  For those of you that are experiencing cold weather, stay warm, and those of you everywhere, enjoy your day and happy quilting.

Quilters Accessories

These are some of the items that I will be sharing at www.amazingquiltsaz.com in my "Quilters Accessories" class. Some of the items use the tumbler block from AccuQuilt.  These are fun and easy to assemble. I have patterns available at my website www.quiltedinspirations.net.

Happy New Years!!!

It has been "forevers" since I have made a post due to a total hip replacement.  It was a total success, the pain is gone and I am back up running, well not literally but moving much better.  The month of Nov. was a blur trying to wrap things up knowing that I would be down for a bit.  I was blessed in that my surgeon did the anterior approach which allowed for a very quick and wonderful recovery.  I had no restrictions like that of the posterior approach which has allowed me to be back up in no time.  I am going to share some photo's of what went on before surgery, so hope you enjoy them.  The plan from here on out is to get all those idea's that ran through my head during my recovery time into actual projects, so be looking for new things to come. Meantime, have a wonderful New Year of blessings and exciting quilt adventures.
This is my "Comfort Quilt" that was presented to me at out end-of-the-year party.
Some of the blocks from my "Sampler Class" in NM
Some blocks from a class Lake Havasu, AZ
I shared my mystery quilt and my shadow quilt with some gals from Silver City, NM

Pictures from my "UFO" Retreat, oh what fun!!!

Where do the days go?

Time can get pass you in a flash of a moment.  I have been busy with classes and designing.  Here are a few pictures of some finished products from the Châtelaine and Bow Tuck classes  and the Apple Core place mat that I gave a "woodies flavor".  I made some wine cozies for some of the holidays to sell at my up & coming show in September!  Starting to get ready for the show in between classes.  The Châtelaine's still need to have their bindings finished but you can get the idea.  This is such a fun class because the gals get to be creative designing what fits their needs and wants best. I love the ring that Suzie put on hers to hold her glasses, wish I thought of that for mine!

Just a few of the bags!

Here is the black & white bag that I made
for myself.  I had a watch party the night
before so I had to have a bag to match.
Visit Melissa's blog and check out these
awesome watches!

The woodies place mat. These are so much fun
to make using the "Curve Master"

Seasonal Wine Cozies!
