Love Never Fails

"Love suffers long and is Kinnd;
Love does not Envy;
Love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own,
is not provoked, thinks no evil;
Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Love bear all thngs, believes all things, hopes all things,

Love is in the Air

It's that time of the year again that we are thinking of those we love and what to quilt for them! Here are a few of my designs that are available for you to make.
Go to my website, www.quiltedinspirations.net and order a kit for yourself.

First Guild Meeting of 2011

Well, the year has begun and the schedule is up and running.  I am chairperson for our local Quilt Guild in Round Valley, AZ.  We are a small group of enthusiastic quilters that love to quilt, enrich the community, learn,  share, laugh, eat and have fun.  I thought I would share what we did this past Sat.

The little yellow heart will hold my needle threader when I can locate it.
What a fun and quick project.

Happy New Years!!!

It has been "forevers" since I have made a post due to a total hip replacement.  It was a total success, the pain is gone and I am back up running, well not literally but moving much better.  The month of Nov. was a blur trying to wrap things up knowing that I would be down for a bit.  I was blessed in that my surgeon did the anterior approach which allowed for a very quick and wonderful recovery.  I had no restrictions like that of the posterior approach which has allowed me to be back up in no time.  I am going to share some photo's of what went on before surgery, so hope you enjoy them.  The plan from here on out is to get all those idea's that ran through my head during my recovery time into actual projects, so be looking for new things to come. Meantime, have a wonderful New Year of blessings and exciting quilt adventures.
This is my "Comfort Quilt" that was presented to me at out end-of-the-year party.
Some of the blocks from my "Sampler Class" in NM
Some blocks from a class Lake Havasu, AZ
 I shared my mystery quilt and my shadow quilt with some gals from Silver City, NM

Pictures from my "UFO" Retreat, oh what fun!!!

My Spot in the Bloghop!

Welcome to my spot in the blog hop!!! What I would like
to share with all of you is how easy and fun it is to use
AccuQuilt products to create beautiful quilts.
I am going to show you what I have done with
one of their fabulous dies the Arabesque #2.
My quilt is "Pour Out Your Heart" in which I
used it for the splash!
I used it again in "Big Blue".  Great quilt for the little
guy in your family.
And then again in my Christmas runner.
Look what you can do with the tumbler block! My quilt
I am designing with this thought, is in the works and should
be out very soon.  Be checking here at my blog to see
what the final outcome is, but meantime, create your own!
With the AccuCut products, designs are endless.
There are kits available on my website all pre-cut,

A new runner and more!!!!

Here is the Christmas runner using the signature block
from AccuQuilt. These are so much fun to make. Kits
are available at http://www.quiltedinspirations.net
Look what I did with the Apple core block!  Another Pillow.
Besides all of the creating, I got to take a few classes
myself and this is what I made. A sweatshirt vest, a purse
and a wallet.

Starting tomorrow I'm off to NM to teach a progressive
sampler quilt to some wonderful gals.  Can't wait.
